Subject:-Downloading of Admit cards for the Written exam of General Teacher, (School Education Department), advertised vide notification 06 of 2017 - regarding. 1. It is for the information of all the candidates who have applied for the General Teacher, (School Education Department), advertised vide notification 06 of 2017, that their admit cards shall be available for downloading at least two weeks before the scheduled date of exam, as per Annexure “A” of this notice, from the JKSSB’s Online Application Portal (www.ssbjk.in). Candidates can get access to the admit cards from main homepage by entering application number and DOB (as entered in the application form). 2. Any Candidate who finds any mistake in his/her admit card must inform the Board at its Portal email ID (ssbjkportal@gmail.com). Any candidate who does not find his/her admit card must send self-explanatory mail at the said email address along with evidence in support of his/her claim. No claim or representation shall be entertained after the last date mentioned in the enclosed annexure. Claims will be accepted only through the above email and not anywhere elsewhere.

Srinagar,: The undergraduate students including boys and girls Tuesday staged protest in Srinagar’s Pratap Park to demand 50 per cent relaxation in their syllabus for the upcoming joint examination of 5th and 6th semesters. Dozens of students wearing uniform assembled at Srinagar’s Pratap Park and chanted slogans in favour of justice. The students urged authorities to fulfil their demands at an earliest. The protesting students said that since the examination for the 5th and 6th semester are being held jointly; the Kashmir University administration must deduct their syllabus by 50 per cent o that the students could heave a sigh of relief. Saying that the protest held today was not against any official or administration but to press for their demands, the students said, “We hope the administration would look into the issue and fulfil our demands at an earliest.” The protesting students also said that the backlog examination of the previous semesters be held immediately. They said that the results for the first semester have not been declared so far. “We have come up with a few demands. We hope the administration won’t play with our future and would fulfil our demands shortly,” they said. Meanwhile, Public Relation Officer (PRO) Kashmir University, Faheem Aslam told KNS that all the modalities for the joint examination would be notified within next 10 to 15 days. “After seeking prior approvals from the competent bodies of the university, all the modalities, including pattern of question paper for the joint examination or any concession in syllabus to be given to the students, would be notified within next 10 to 15 days,” he said. Subject- Revised/Final Answer Key of the Laboratory Assistant (02 of
2017) CBT after disposal of the representations- regarding
1. The revised answer key, after disposing of the representations submitted by the candidates from
1st-2nd March, 2018, in respect of the CBT of the Laboratory Assistant (02 of 2017) of School
Education department held in February, 2018, will be available for viewing of the candidates on
22nd and 23rd March, 2018, on the JKSSB Online Portal (www.ssbjk.in).Candidates are
required to login with their roll number and Date of Birth to view the Revised Answer Key
2. The revised key will also show the answers reflected in the previous key for the convenience of
the candidates. However, the results will be compiled only on the basis of the revised key.
3. It is further clarified for the information of the candidates that a) the candidates having marked
either of the options as answering option, for the questions where two Answering Options are
reflected, will be awarded full marks (one mark). However, no mark will be awarded to the
candidates having opted for both the options; b) the candidates would be allocated marks for the
questions which are nullified/deleted as per Rule XV (17) of J&K SSB conduct of Examination

Jammu and Kashmir will introduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) by the first week of July, the state finance minister Haseeb A Drabu said in Parliament on the sidelines of the event to launch India’s biggest indirect taxes reform.
The state assembly will meet on July 4 and take it up after which the cabinet is expected to approve it on July 5. “We are hoping to send it for President’s approval the next day,” Drabu told Hindustan Times.
“So by 6th of July, GST should be approved for implementation,” Drabu, who attended the launch function, said.
Barring J&K, all states have implemented the initiative that would create a unified tax across the country.
Earlier, finance minister Arun Jaitley wrote to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed urging her to implement GST in the valley to avoid any increase in prices.
Drabu earlier said the government will factor in constitutional, legislative, administrative and institutional issues distinct to the state while implementing the GST.
